The above supplementary votes are submitted to provide funds for the currying out of the policy as regards Air Raid Precautions announced in the statement by the Honourable Colonial Secretary in Legislative Council of the 29th June, 1939.
In view of the sub-division of the requirements which has now been made as above, no expenditure will be charged to the block vote of $250,000 under Head GC, Sub-head 13, "Mobilization Stores" and savings to that amount will accordingly be available to meet a portion of the above votes under Head 6C.
